25 minutes
A guided practice to quiet the mind, awaken imagination, and create the inner conditions for new ideas to emerge.
This Yoga Nidra is designed for moments when you feel mentally full, creatively blocked, or simply in need of space to let something new unfold. You don’t need to be a creative professional. It can be especially useful when you’re looking for a fresh perspective, working on something that requires imagination, or wanting to reconnect with a more intuitive way of thinking.
The practice follows the Total Yoga Nidra method, guiding you into a state of deep physical and mental rest while keeping a thread of awareness present. Rather than trying to force creativity or come up with answers, you’re given space to step out of habitual patterns of thinking and allow the mind to move more freely.
Throughout the practice, guided imagination is woven into breath awareness, inviting the mind into a more receptive and spacious state. During the rotation of consciousness, a traditional nyasa-inspired practice is introduced through the imagination, as tiny stars are placed throughout the body. This creates a sense of inhabiting the body from the inside, while gradually opening the experience outward.
The result is an experience that is both expansive and grounded: deeply restful, embodied, and spacious enough for ideas, images, connections, and possibilities to arise naturally.
You can use this practice whenever you want to:
create space for new ideas
move through creative resistance or mental stagnation
access imagination beyond deliberate thinking
shift out of an overactive, problem-solving mind
rest deeply while remaining inwardly aware
reconnect with a sense of curiosity and possibility
No experience with Yoga Nidra is required. Simply lie down, listen, and allow yourself to be guided.
