40 min
Total reset and relaxation during any time in your day.
This is for the kind of tiredness that sleep doesn't always resolve. The body may be lying down, but some part of you is still holding, monitoring, planning, anticipating. The mind keeps moving, the muscles don't quite let go. Even rest can become something we're trying to do correctly.
This Yoga Nidra offers a different kind of rest.
Through the practice, attention is gradually drawn away from effort and toward sensation, breath and simple awareness. There is nothing to achieve and nowhere to get to. You are invited to let the body become heavy, to soften your relationship with doing, and to experience what happens when you stop asking yourself to hold everything together for a while.
The practice follows the Total Yoga Nidra method, creating a state in which the body can rest deeply while awareness remains quietly present. Rather than guiding you toward sleep, it explores the territory between wakefulness and sleep, where the usual momentum of the mind can begin to settle.
You may notice a sense of spaciousness, heaviness, stillness, or simply a gradual decrease in the need to do anything at all.
This practice is for you when you feel:
physically or mentally depleted
overstimulated by too much input or activity
caught in constant thinking or doing
unable to fully switch off, even when you have time to rest
in need of a pause that asks nothing from you
You don't need to know how to meditate or have any previous experience with Yoga Nidra.
Lie down somewhere comfortable, press play, and let yourself be carried through the practice.
